Millwork Masters' has named Ingram Construction Corporation of Swanzey the Builder of the Month. Ingram Construction was founded in 1981 by Bill Ingram who has since been joined by his sons, Jeff and Steve. They specialize in commercial, industrial and institutional construction.
"Our advantage,’Δω says Jeff Ingram, President, "is that we are small and very conservative. We tend to be able to do things very competitively because we don't carry a large overhead."
The Ingrams are personally involved in every project. Most of their work is within a 100 mile radius of Swanzey. Many of the jobs are historical preservation projects. "A lot of what we do involves details that have to meet guidelines for funding and be historically accurate," states Ingram. Which is one reason they use Marvin windows. "The flexibility in the details are only possible when the windows are made to order."
The attention to details has paid off for Ingram. They have received 3 merit awards from the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance for their work on historical preservation.
