Ultimate Replacement Windows with Wood Exteriors

Retractable Screen

When a screen is needed, simply glide the retractable screen across the window. For wide open views, the Retractable Screen effortlessly integrates into the window and is virtually undetectable. Available for new or existing cranking Ultimate Casement and Awning windows.

Add interest to window design with operating polygons that now match the profile of other Marvin Ultimate Casement products. Available in 9 different shapes with either clad or wood exterior, the Ultimate Polygon can be specified with a variety of glass and divided lite options.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY MADE EASY

Always striving to meet the needs of an ever-changing environment, Marvin builds energy efficiency into product performance while bringing your inspiration to life. Marvin offers a variety of energy-efficient glass options:

LoĒ²-272^® — Features a double metallic coating on the inside glass surface to reflect heat into the room in winter and reject the sun’s warmth in summer, reducing damaging UV rays. Offers enhanced U-factor and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient.

LoĒ³-366^® — Featuring three metallic layers of silver, this glass rejects solar heat and features lower Solar Heat Gain. Recommended for warm climates where cooling costs are high and also for areas where intense exposure to the sun is an issue.

Tripane — Greater energy efficiency is achievable with triple glazing with argon or, for even better insulating value, krypton gas. Tripane glazing is available with LoĒ coatings to match a variety of climate requirements.

Marvin also offers these enhancements to further increase the energy efficiency of your windows:

Energy Panel — Often confused with storm windows, an Energy Panel is a glazing option consisting of a removable exterior glass panel finished on the edges by a surround. Energy panels cover the exposed glass surface of each sash, and offer added energy efficiency for wood windows with single glazing.

Storm and Screen Combos — A combination unit is composed of two movable glass panels and one movable screen panel. The individual panels can be configured multiple ways, and can be easily removed from the interior for cleaning.

Quality and Durability

Marvin’s integrated prime and paint system is designed to work together for exceptional durability and paint adhesion. Marvin applies a coat of primer and a separate coat of paint to each individual wood piece. The window or door is then assembled. This process ensures that the primer and paint is applied evenly, creating a high quality, consistent finish. The Painted Interior Finish meets or exceeds WDMA TM 14-09 standards

The natural features and benefits of wood including wood grain will be present, radiating the warmth and character of real wood.

Convenience

Painting windows and doors can be tedious and time-consuming. It often requires removing hardware and leaving the window or door open while the paint dries. Having windows and doors painted after delivery can also add time and cost to a project. That’s why Marvin’s new White Painted Interior Finish option is the ideal solution.

Environmentally Friendly

Painted Interior Finish also has environmental benefits. The water based enamel primer and paint has Zero Volatile Hazardous Air Pollutants (VHAPs) and low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). During the manufacturing process, state of the art paint spray equipment is used to minimize any paint overspray or waste. VOCs are captured and filtered to minimize impact to the environment. The Painted Interior Finish option also eliminates off gassing at the jobsite and provides improved air quality.

Innovative operation and contemporary styling describe the Ultimate Glider. The clean lines and the unique design of the Glider, like the automatic locking system, differentiate it from other sliding windows. The convenience of an easy cleaning feature plus energy efficiency provides excellent performance — making the glider a perfect choice. Glazing options meet ENERGY STAR criteria to reduce heating and cooling costs, and it’s the only extruded clad glider with wood interior that meets a LC50 commercial rating for air, water and structural performance.
